How likely are you to recommend Dr. Deem?
Dr. Deem made a judgment call that probably saved my life. I began seeing him because I had nonspecific symptoms which, given my young age, were likely benign but could possibly have represented something more serious. After weighing the evidence, he erred on the side of caution and suggested a procedure that showed I was at very high risk of colon cancer – information I never would have known otherwise, and which I can use to avoid getting it. Since then, multiple specialists have told me how lucky I was to detect this problem as early as I did. So yes, as the other reviews say, he has a friendly demeanor and I always felt welcome in his office. But what really matters is that, when faced with what turned out to be a crucial decision, he made the right call. As a result, I am (alive and) grateful.
