I saw Dr. Perri after a MVA in 2011. He had me go to 3 different Physical Therapy places but it only helped temporarily . It made no sense to drive an hour round trip & waste taxpayers money since my bestie was a PT. I had several different injections, however, they were a temporary fix. After several Surgeons agreed that Surgery was not an option due to me having too much damage in my back, Dr Perri had a talk with me. He said "U will NEED Narcotic & anti-anxiety meds the rest of your life in order for U to live a normal productive life." The fact that he said I would NEED the medication had me a bit worried but Dr. Peri reassured me-my MRI'S and X-Rays, I should have no problem obtaining medication. I stoped going to Dr Perri- my Auto Insurance done paying. If he took my health insurance, I would have stayed with him. Recently,I found that he works in VA, I live in VA! Hopefully he will accept me back as his patient. :)

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
