Did you ever dream of partnering with your doctor to find the root cause of your illness? Well, I have...I have been chasing a beast with no name for years. It shows up unsuspectingly and I am usually triaged, stabilized, and summarily "let go." This is not Dr. Danny Yang's approach. I went to UT Tyler earlier in the week and unfortunately, all the scans and blood work were unremarkable. So, they discharged me as "stable" with a BP of 192/110. I went in with a BP of 208/133. They did what they could do. When I met Dr. Yang (I couldn't take the pain), he was committed to listening to my story and it is long, He included me in my care and showed me my scans blood work. We discussed what other tests could/should be run and as I suggested others, he explained why the outcomes would not yield any helpful information. He just made sense for the first time in years. He showed up fully and was engaged. Truly, God bless him. We need to flood the world with Dr. Yang's.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
