How likely are you to recommend Dr. Alhankawi?
Dr. Alhankawi also practices in Temecula (where I saw her) and Encinitas. I was hesitant to select her for my colonoscopy because she had no reviews. But she recently changed affiliations. The other local docs had less than favorable reviews, so it took a while to find the right pace to go. I called her previous office not knowing she was no longer there. The person on the phone raved about her and said they all wish she would come back. She's great with patients. She is also well published which made me feel confident. They were right. She is very interested in answering all questions and in informing you about what to expect. I had a positive Cologuard test and had been avoiding colonoscopies for 10 years. I won't do that again. I was lucky. My colonoscopy turned out favorable...no malignancy. The doctor reassured me during our consult the week prior to the procedure that she would do everything to help me if it turned out I had cancer. I felt safe in her hands.
