Patient Reviews
Apr 15, 2024
I was seen in the ER with a hemoglobin of 6.2, admitted and given blood and iron. Dr. Wakelin saw me in the ER. He did an upper endoscopy and a colonoscopy the next morning. He explained his concerns before the procedures and his findings after the procedures very well. He sent me the pathological findings from the biopsies on a Sunday evening at 6:18pm. I will be following up with him for future procedures in 2-3 years.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
