How likely are you to recommend Dr. Lao?
We were fortunate to have my 95 yr old mother assigned to Dr. Lao. He was very patient and caring with her while testing her for Altzheimers. He explained what to look for in advancing symptoms. He provided reading material for me, as her daughter and care taker. He said to feel free to call him anytime I needed to explain my mother's actions. I called when she was having hallucinations. I called when she would talk to a doll or spoke with her mom or husband whom both have passed years ago. Dr. Lao explain to me about these episodes that unnerved me and explained how to react to these situations. He was so helpful and understanding. When my mother was 96, she attempted to get out of her hospital bed and fell on her face unto our tiled floor. After treated at ER, returned home, Dr. Lao set up in-home Hospice which was such a blessing for us. Her fall was in July, her condition of Latent Altzheimers worsened; she passed Aug 2021. I highly recommend Dr. Lao for your beloved elderly.
