Patient Reviews
Jun 23, 2023
Dr. Sandhu is a superb neurosurgeon who takes as much time as needed with you and is very conservative in his approach when deciding to do surgery. Because of this, expect long wait times. His medical staff is awesome as well. In contrast, if you can get through to anyone to schedule appointments, you are lucky. Trying to contact them for appointments is very frustrating and most often you get dumped into either a voice mail system (from which no one ever returns your call) or it disconnects you. Thus you may need to call maybe a dozen times or more hoping to catch an actual person. Even appointments that they have contacted you to set up mysteriously are not entered into their system, meaning you may show up and not have an appointment. The problems I think are due to the scheduling personnel being Medstar staff and are not Dr. Sandhu's personal staff. Nonetheless, given Dr. Sandhu is such an outstanding, high quality and caring neurosurgeon, the frustration and effort is worth it.
