Patient Reviews
Jun 09, 2021
I have been a patient with Dr. Mahaseth for just about 5 years and I have just finished my treatment successfully. His attitude and demeanor helped me to maintain a positive outlook through treatment. His knowledge of the options and his ability to explain them clearly, really made me feel that he was looking to my care first, rather than some doctors who seem to focus on getting a patient in and out. He took the time to hear me out, listen to my concerns and fears, and listen to my "research" and the thoughts that came from it. He was willing to listen, to correct me when I was wrong or when what I said was out of date, and then to incorporate that into my treatment plan. His team did a great job of coordinating various teams, including the surgery and radiation. And as we wrapped up my treatment, he made it clear that if I had concerns in the future, if I thought that there might be a recurrence, that he and his team would be available. I am incredibly grateful for his work.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
