How likely are you to recommend Dr. Mahjoob?
After a year of 8 ERCPs due to stones constantly blocking my bile duct, Dr. Majoob installed 2 pigtail biliary stents which can remain in place for 12 months. Not one occurrence of stones stuck since. Of course, they need to be replaced after 12 months, but it sure beats having multiple ERCPs. Was getting tired of trips to John's Hopkins. Great GI surgeon, very thorough, caring and professional. Explains everything in detail, even if you "know your stuff" as he told me! Went through enough that year.
