Patient Reviews
Dec 27, 2023
I moved to back to Parkersburg in 2013 and had seen doctors all over SC for a back/neck issue. I had been paying $1000 a month for shots in my back for several years…When I arrived back here, one appointment with Dr. Barton and I had MRI and surgery scheduled for my neck. Six weeks later… no pain and back to full life. 5 years later I injured my knee playing softball. After two FAILED surgeries in Marietta (from on duty hospital ortho) i called Dr. Barton and he IMMEDIATELY sent me to Morgantown because I had MRSA and i would lose my leg if i didnt get out of this area. He PERSONALLY made an appointment with the best surgeon in Morgantown and i had a appointment there the next week. 2 surgeries later (4 total) I still have my leg and I can walk. Without Dr Barton it would have been amputated. Besr DOC in mid-ohio valley!!!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
