Patient Reviews

I have known Dr Mirza for over 15 years. He has treated me on multiple intakes including involuntary, voluntary, inpatient, outpatient, php, iop, and follow up or “after care” at Dover behavioral and Tidalhealth Seaford (previous employer). For years I have driven over an hour with multiple hours waiting for aftercare appointments in Dover when I lived in Rehoboth. He is constantly asking the appropriate questions to determine drug effectiveness and outweighing or counteracting underlying side effects. He cares about your mental health while struggling with daily addiction problems of alcohol especially. I have been treated in multiple states while managing outside life stressors and nervous breakdowns. He is compassionate about understanding your background, history, triggers and solutions of healthy coping. He and I didn’t get along in the beginning of my treatment because like so many others I didn’t believe I had a dual diagnosis of bipolar tendencies with ptsd and required meds.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
