Patient Reviews
Jan 06, 2022
Dr. Knighton treated me during the 30 days I was hospitalized with Covid-19 pneumonia at Norton Hospital Brownsboro. Next to God answering many prayers, I am convinced she carried out the biggest role in my recovery. She was aggressive in her treatment plan but at the same time, mindful of my questions, my concerns, and my faith. She never seemed to be in a hurry and I never felt she was "watching the clock" when she saw me. She arrived around the same time each day and, well into my treatment, shared with me that she saw her most seriously ill patients at the end of her rounds. As the days passed and she came in earlier and earlier, I just KNEW I was improving! What a positive feeling that was. Since I was in isolation she seldom failed to ask me if there was anything I needed or wanted then OR when she came the next day. Once I mentioned that I would enjoy some cinnamon hard candy and lemonade. She brought me both. I am convinced few doctors exist who are more diligent and kind.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
