Patient Reviews

I truly believe Dr. Spector not only saved my life, but saved my ability to talk. I was a fire fighter exposed to PFAS from the AFFF foam who developed tongue cancer despite never having smoked or chewed tobacco. Dr. Spector was able to extract the cancerous part and build the flap with arm tissue, so that I can talk pretty clearly now, despite this incredibly invasive, difficult procedure. He seemed genuinely understanding about the challenging recovery I experienced afterward, and the unavoidable loss to my sense of taste (from the radiation) and some loss of tongue function (yeah, it underwent major surgery). He listens to my concerns and offers empathetic consolation, perspective from what his other patients have experienced, and gentle advice. I feel so very lucky to have had Dr. Spector as my tongue surgeon!
