Dr Nelms was a fresh surgeon when I had my first hip done with Dr Howe in 2012,{at age48} I had no doubt that Dr Nelms would be doing my second hip. On 6/11/21 he did , he offered a new approach that between us decided it would be the best for me. same great time spent in the office, same wonderful staff waiting to answer ANY questions, his nurse Norma is wonderful. I will be recommending this group still for hip conditions. I just don't have the space to write how happy my husband and myself feel about Dr Nelms and his staff, if you have any issues with your hips, do not wait ! THIS IS YOUR TEAM ! you will never regret it!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
