Patient Reviews
Jun 06, 2024
I am a surgical patient of Dr Huang, 4 weeks post-op from one level acdf surgery at C7T1. My experience over many months with Dr Huang was nothing like I had ever experienced with any physician. The investment he made throughout our consultations and examinations, the thoughtfulness of his communication, the empathy he demonstrated, and his conservative approach, gave me the confidence in the ultimate decision for surgery. My recovery has been uneventful. Since leaving the hospital the following day after surgery, I've not had a single incident (knock on wood). No issues swallowing, sore throat, hoarseness, or issues with the incision. The need for narcotics was for the initial weekend. But even that need was minimal . All in all, the many things that I was concerned prior to surgery, because of the skillfulness of Dr Huang, never came to be. 4 Weeks later I feel great. I would be remiss if I didn't mention my appreciation for his staff, as well as that of the entire HSS experience.
