Patient Reviews
May 08, 2024
After cycling through several endocrinologists for osteoporosis treatment I found Dr Coffin. I feel extremely fortunate to have him as my doctor.I am a 50ish male – not the usual osteoporosis patient. Previous doctors did not listen to me, had no time for me, treated me as an elderly post-menopausal female and dictated their treatment plans to me without, apparently, considering my lifestyle or activity level. “Don’t fall” was typical advice.Dr Coffin on the other hand: 1. Is an active listener. 2. An EXCELLENT communicator. 3. Wants my input and built my treatment plan with me – we COLLABORATED. 3. He researches my questions and responds with thoughtful, reasonable and useful advice. 4. I feel GOOD after interacting with Dr Coffin – not ashamed, depressed, anxious or scared. He is young, shows initiative, embraces new (but solid) research and overall is the best doctor I have had in my entire life. Period.

Board Certifications
What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
