Patient Reviews

Ohio Health personnel were all friendly. I usually arrived 5 minutes early and they always processed my within 5 minutes and I was seen on initial and follow-up visits within a very short amount of time (within 10 minutes or less). I drive an hour, so the efficiency is much appreciated. My ACDF surgery was excellent. My recovery has been smooth. I had one point where I was experiencing some tenderness in my arm and expressed concern to Dr. Awuor's staff. They immediately brought me in and did x-rays and confirmed that my alignment and bracket were fine. That and subsequent PT which the staff prescribed have eliminated that pain. My pain has been 1-2 since the day of surgery. I have not taken anything stronger than OTC pain meds and weaned myself off of nerve blocker.I had minimal side effects with the surgery. I had hoarseness for just a couple of hours. I could swallow fine with no discomfort immediately. Very pleased here at 6 weeks!
