Patient Reviews
Sep 11, 2021
When we selected Dr Marmaras, we did so because of all the positive comments of how she had helped many. My goal was to mend my relationships with my adult daughters and wife. I stepped into family therapy not knowing what to expect. Dr Marmaras helped me understand the process and how to connect with and express my feelings and those of each family member. She helped me identify and understand behaviors and triggers and how to manage them and control my reactions. My family and I managed to repair our relationships substantially and understand each other better and we are much happier too! We now know it’s an ongoing process but getting on the right path is one of the most important steps one can take. We owe our improvement to Dr Marmaras and her/our persistence to meet every week for months. Being empathetic and compassionate definitely helped us welcome therapy and get the most out of it!
