Patient Reviews

A few years ago, I experienced lots of pressure in my right eye and loss of vision clarity. I went to two separate optometrists for this. The one optometrist diagnosed me with really bad vision (no cataract) and the second optometrist with dry eye. I had seen the second optometrist 3 weeks before I went to see Dr. Bergstrom as an emergency visit because I could hardly drive. Because of what I had told his receptionist on the phone, he brought out his little light when I was sitting in the waiting room. He diagnosed me with a huge posterior subcapsular cataract immediately; even before I went back for a more detailed examination. When I asked him today why those other two optometrists failed to see the cataract which he was able to see so quickly. He didn't know how they missed it. In my opinion, there are some bad optometrists out there. Dr. Bergstrom is excellent. That's why I drive all the way from Camano Island to see him.
