Patient Reviews
Sep 23, 2023
I am a Vanderbilt trained NP and I saw Mr. Gamini Wiyathunge on 9/20/23 - I had Covid and was unaware as I had tested negative every day with rapid antigen tests. I felt unwell & I went to TWO ER’s in Nashville before I went to Vandy urgent walk-in- the ER doctors didn’t even examine me, didn’t touch me OR TEST ME FOR COVID. Mr. Gamini gave me the BEST HEAD to TOE physical I have had in years. He listened to anterior and posterior lungs - in 12 areas. He palpated and percussed my abdomen. He thorough checked ALL my cervical, neck, head & lymph nodes. He looked in my ears, nose, eyes - checked my cranial nerves and swabbed my nares (to my brain) for COVID. Despite me ensuring him I tested negative on rapid antigen tests. He also tested for Flu, strep, and RSV. His history taking skills and process of eliminating differential diagnosis and thinking was second to NONE. I wish every single person could get the care I received with Mr. Gamini Wiyathunge, he was a God-Send. He should get a raise and train other doctors and providers. Thank you Mr. Gamini!
