Patient Reviews
Nov 17, 2020
Dr. Kirkemier is THE BEST optometrist and doctor in Alabama. She was very patient with me and my entire family. She found my husband's benign brain tumor and handled the entire situation with care and professionalism. She explained everything in detail and made us feel very comfortable and at ease. She visited us in the hospital and sent food to our home. Once you are her patient, you are also her family. Unfortunately, she is no longer at UAB, but still sees patients in AL at her own clinic. I recommend looking her up if you're looking for a caring doctor who is not concerned about making money. If you want someone to give you her time, expertise, and care, she is the only doctor in Birmingham (and AL for that matter) that I have found who isn't going to try to just sell you something. She truly cares and treats you like family.
