How likely are you to recommend Dr. Smith?
Dr. Smith replaced both my left knee and hip. I went to him after a very poor experience with another surgeon in St. Helena when I had my right knee replaced. Dr. Smith was focused, kind and very patient with questions and explanations. He gave me excellent care that resulted in very quick recovery. I was most impressed by how caring he is. After the previous surgeon, who was cold and almost robotic, Dr. Smith's genuine, humorous and compassionate approach was wonderful. He even played with my small breed service dog! I can't recommend him enough. Both joint replacements feel as if they were natural joints, and I've had no post operative problems at all after three years.
