Patient Reviews
Jul 21, 2023
I've seen Dr. Newkirk several times concerning a neck mass. Dr. Newkirk took his time reviewing an outside scan and report, and then recommended a further test in anticipation of surgery. I found him to be caring. He explained everything in easy to understand terms. He took his time and always asked at the end of my visits if I had any additional questions. His assistant was a very reassuring and the surgical scheduler was efficient. The office was busy but acceptable. My medical situation is complicated with multiple medical conditions, significant allergies, and medical device incompatibilities. This did cause a delay in getting one of my tests. I think the practice should have flagged it early on, but it was finally resolved. Dr. Newkirk also cleaned out my ears, one which was pretty well impacted. I had to laugh as he repeatedly said, "I'm going to pull on your ear ... you're going to hear a gushing sound ..." He must be great with children! My surgery has been scheduled.

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
