Dr. P ~ is a very wonderful doctor, he has been my doctor for over 10 yrs. - He will take time with you, he will explain your lab results, he will put you on notice to what ever medical issue(s) and prevention measures you need to live a healthy and happy lifestyle - it will be up to yourself to follow those lifestyle plans.
